Details:
This is an image showing the night side thermal emission of the surface of Venus. This is seen at 1 micron. The darker areas are higher elevation surface features that are cooler compared to the lower surface. This type of imaging requires the Sun to be below the horizon, The image is a multi-stack of 9 sequences, each a 2500 frames from 11000 frames. The insets from the WinJupos software show a good correlation with the final image.
