Details:
The kp index jumped this morning around 4am (11:00 UTC) local time. I was out taking photos and pointed the camera north. There was a subtle glow to the unaided eye that turned out to be the shade of aurora pink in the photos. Just before dawn. From 39 degrees north in western Colorado. 20 sec exposure at iso 3200 f2.8
