Details:
About 20 minutes after sunset Feb. 25, just NE of Calgary, Alberta I managed to capture three of the planets in alignment in the western sky. I used an old Nikon D70, a 18-55mm lens @ 28mm and F4 with no adjustments made to the picture. Venus is on top with Mercury just above Saturn, just above the clouds on the horizon. They are magnified in the inset. It was awesome to be out and able to see all 8 planets in one outing. Neptune and Uranus required a good pair of binoculars.
