I checked the ISS data base for pics before and after the event and found that there were 4 photos related to this Gigantic Jet Lightning event. According to some preliminary analysis, the location of this GJ event is south of New Orleans and over the Gulf of Mexico. I used the 4 photos from the ISS website, which are related to this GJ event, to create a timelapse video that can be seen here: https://youtu.be/-NpnvjqkKeU?si=LZxyjTemPfgpHylt. The metadata at the website indicates that the camera was set to a shutterspeed of 1/4 second so that means that this event lasted approx 1 second, which is typical of some of these types of events.
