Details:
the planet is shrinking fast the illuminated phase, 0.34, as well as increasing its diameter, 34.6" arc. Of note is the red fringe due to atmospheric dispersion. In two weeks from now Venus will reach its maximum illuminated area/brightness when located about 36° east from the Sun
