On the afternoon of January 20th 2025, the weather conditions were not favorable, but it was worth waiting for the nightfall. At the top of its beauty, Comet ATLAS (C/2024 G3) appeared among the clouds at the twilight, just as the first stars were emerging at the sky. The place chosed to capture the magic of the tailed comet was the Maricá Lagoon, located in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This image is a result of 40 frames of 4s each one, taken by Canon EOS 6D, Samyang 135mm f2 ED UMC at f2.8, ISO 500.
