Details:
Comet C/2024 G3 ATLAS was quite clearly visible to the unaided eye. A large crowd of over 70 people descended on this lookout in the Sydney Blue Mountains long before sunset. We were lashed with wind and rain before the clouds parted and the comet presented itself.

DETAILS: These images were taken with an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and show the Comet's visibility on the Live View LCD panel on my main camera (an EOS Ra Mirrorless camera). This high visibility made the comet easy to track and frame with everyone's cameras. I've included several other images from the lookout as they won't show in the main feed here but might be of interest to others reading this description. We are once again beset by clouds at sunset for another week so this was my only chance to image this comet.
