Details:
At around an hour after sunset the comet is roughly 12⁰ above the horizon. Sitting against a now blue sky is making it even easier to see by eye from a rural location. I used both a Nikon D5600 with a 50mm Nikkor lens, and a D750 with a 135mm Nikkor and a 400mm Tokina lens, set mostly at ISO 6400 with exposures of between 3 and 10 seconds. The view with the 400mm is very similar to what I was seeing in my 25 x 100 binoculars. Photos were taken on 2025.01.22 between 9.19 & 9.33 U.T.
