Details:
the planet presents a half illuminated phase 25 arcsec wide, is easily found with 10x50s and appears to the unaided eye too. From now on Venus evolves quickly the next ten weeks until inferior conjunction on march 22. This almost coincidence with the equinox produces the maximum 8° separation from the Sun making it possible to follow the complete crossing. 13:48 local time, Newt 8" + Canon T7i, equatorial layout S up, W left
