Details:
The Spectacular New Year January 1st Aurora was really strong. The geomagnetic peak was up to Kp8 (and Hp30 was all up to 9.5) during the early evening. Here is an all sky 360 panorama presented as "little planet" from 20.28 UTC. Imaged with a Canon EOS Ra and Canon 8-15mm fisheye. My observation spot turned into a "paradise snowball planet". Several constellations hover all around the "planet", with Orion at top. I had clear sky all evening and -20C. The second image is a fisheye view from 16.28 UTC. The third is from 15.58 UTC. A really spectacular start of the year!
