Details:
These time of the year we have three planets that outshine all else: Venus after Sunset, Jupiter later on, and Mars at midnight. All are well placed and at good positions in their orbit, as such, Jupiter and Mars are after and just before opposiyion. Mars is starting to show many fine details in medium sized scopes, despite the not so favorable opposition this year. 355mm Newtonian, January 1st, 2025.
