I’ve never before seen anything like this,since these halos reach the zenith! There are 20 individual light pillars, ot the tops of them, visible in the photo. On the left in the photo is a faint Aurora Borealis. It was -32 C on the ground and humid, but 500 m above the ground only -14 C. This strong inversion has likely contributed to these rare halos.
