Comet 333P/LINEAR on the morning of 2024 December 8 1134UT was magnitude G=10.5 as calculated from 4x10 second images taken thru a green filter in an aperture diameter of 2.4' as the comet was 23 hours from its close approach to Earth at 1014UT on 2024 December 9 when it will be 50.25 million miles (80.86 million kilometers) from Earth. The comet was 50.3 million miles (81 million kilometers) from Earth moving at 9.7' per hour (3.9 degrees per day) across Earths skies when these images were taken. The 23x40 second animation showed the comet moving a little over 5' (0.08 degrees) in these 34 minutes of its observed life from 1014-1048UT.
