Details:
An amazing lunar halo just outside of Fairbanks at 1 am followed by an aurora burst was on my wish list for Santa, who I caught checking his list by moonlight at the Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska during the early morning hours of November 17, 2024. I felt like a little gnome as I crouched under the tree branches to frame the Supermoon Halo shot. And that aurora reminds me of Gumby!
