Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is now more than 1 AU away from Earth and no longer naked eye visible. In the past weeks I took multiple images with my own equipment (general MILC cameras and medium/tele lenses) and also by remote observing. This image is a comparison of 3 multi-panel composites (each panel contains 3-5 mins total integration time, luminance only) obtained remotely using a 10 cm telescope in Namibia via the Skygems Network.
The first pic shows the comet on the evening of october 21, the second is from october 29 and the last was taken on november 2. The FOV is similar on all images (horizontally spanning cca. 6 deg.). During this period the overall brightness of the comet has drastically decreased, the ion tail clearly visible on the first pic has disappeared and due to change in geometry the antitail can no longer be observed.
