Details:
In comparison to recent displays, last night's aurora was a bit dinky, but it was well worth a night out in the cold, with reds visible to the eye at times. There was also the added bonus of capturing Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS to the southwest of the display, although it has faded quite a bit and is no longer visible to the eye. Not also the bright airglow bands to the southwest. The Comet panorama was taken at 2112 , with the bright rayed arc at 2207 and the panorama later in the display at 2326 UTC.
