Details:
Comet vs M31 for brightness comparison. Comet is still very much naked eye bright, brighter than mag 3.4 M31, imo. Maybe not a Great Comet, but it has been the best one in a very long time for imaging.
Comparison image settings the same for both the comet and Andromeda Galaxy. focal length 80mm, 21sec, f/4.0, ISO 6400
