Details:
What a bustling sky above New Zealand tonight, filled with the marvels of the cosmos. This panorama was captured at Lake Pukaki within the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. The view prominently features the sweeping arc of the Milky Way galaxy, with the zodiacal light and dazlling planet Venus positioned centrally in the frame. To the right of Venus, near the horizon, the Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is captured The vibrant aurora australis steals the show across the southern sky, its colors dancing among the stars. On the left side of the image, the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) and the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) stand out, adding to the celestial spectacle.
