Details:
It was initially clouds that magically dissolved just in time to catch these. They are stacks of 2-8 sec tracked exposures over 3-5 min with Nikon 300mm f/4 PF and 105mm f/2.5 AIS @ f/3.2 on Z8 at ISO 500 - stacked in Sequator or Deep Sky Stacker. I am happy to also have caught the anti-tail. This was our only chance here - the official comet party at the university next evening was canceled when it suddenly clouded over after a beautiful clear day..., so I am very happy I went out early. We are now facing a severe winter storm for this week.
