Details:
A near full Hunter Supermoon forms a lunar halo in the icy cirrus clouds above Turnagain Arm just southeast of Anchorage, Alaska. Photo #2 ~ “Rise of the Hunter.” I literally gasped out loud when I saw this recent near full moonrise unfold through the clouds. Photo #3 ~ I enjoyed seeing the pink “Belt of Venus” over the Chugach Mountains while flying into Anchorage during sunset two days ago, followed shortly by a quick scramble after the plane landed to catch photo #4 ~ the “Comet over Cook Inlet” from the western shore of Anchorage, AK. Drama in the sky, oh my!
