Details:
I managed to catch comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) at Peggys Cove on Sunday evening, Oct.13 with my Samsung S24 phone hand held, between clouds and just before it dove into a thick cloud bank. I was not expecting much with a bright moon and twilight. I used my cell phone just to see if it was there and the cell phone pic. looks like water colors but you can see the comet which is much dimmer than Venus.
