Details:
Last night's first stop—west of Ash Fork, Arizona. Great, low horizon out there and it was mostly out of a wave of eastbound cirrus that I snuck under on the way from Flagstaff. The time lapse preview is looking fun, especially once that lower green arc gets hopping and pulsing. But the naked eye visual while the cameras were running was so awesome. Bundles of red pillars materializing and sweeping slowly across green fog. That's four visual sightings in Arizona in the last six months. And I think I missed a couple other instances. This solar maximum is a beast.
