Details:
I could see some hints of reddish glow scattered around but one in particular was crossing overhead almost along the milkyway. It actually confused me for artifacts of lights around. SO I had to step away in the darker area and surely it was a beautiful arc crossing the sky from east through northwest. I didn't see much activities in the north at first but then a wave of Aurora started to appear and made a beautiful rare show for this latitude (Angels Camp,CA). H-Alfa modified Canon EOS DSLR, 16mm F2.8 set to F3.5 at ASA1600, 15" exp.
