Details:
This was the best display of Northern Lights I have ever seen. Here on Cape Cod, they are a rare event. I was surrounded by walls of red light just after sunset, but they soon faded to pretty but hard-to-see hues of green and purple on the northern horizon. Just as I was about to go inside around 10pm, the sky exploded in the most breathtaking curtains of fluorescent reds, greens, and purples propped up on sharp pillars of white. I can understand why more ancient cultures saw the hand of God in these displays. I did too, and was deeply grateful for this exceedingly rare opportunity. Another satisfied aurora customer!
