Details:
G4 geomagnetic storm led to intense periods of aurora activity. The Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area was a popular spot for aurora watchers last night. This was a spectacular treat at 40.2 degN latitude. The reflections off the lake were strong and clear. Bright stars including the Big Dipper constellation were visible through the aurora.
