Details:
The whole thing lasted about 30 minutes, starting almost as soon as the sun went down. At it's height, even the moon didn't dull it, and it went all the way over from the northern horizon to the southern. Some faint glow remained visible to the camera for another hour or so after it became too dim to see with the naked eye.
