Details:
Broad, reddish-purple patches that varied in intensity, which were occasionally mixed with a light green coloration. At times, the glow morphed into beams . The display wad strongest in strongest in the northeast at dusk, but for a short time extended to the zenith with bands of red halfway up in the northwest extending southward of the handle of the Big Dipper.
