Details:
While to the naked eye there was only a hint of color in the many white streaks -- bright enough to nearly wash out Casiopea! -- the camera onmy Samsung phone recorded greens and reds all along the northern horizon, and even directly overhead. (2 second exposures, hand held, with a shaky, excited hand!)
