Details:
I observed the aurora in Grand Teton National Park on the shore of Jackson Lake. The aurora were extremely bright and colorful, but then I noticed SAR climbing very high into the sky to the left of the main aurora display. I couldn't capture the entire length of SAR even with my fisheye lens, and so I rotated the camera to portrait mode to try to capture the whole thing. It was especially striking to see SAR cross the Milky Way.
