Details:
In Yellowknife, Canada - latitude 62 north - we usually see aurora closer to midnight. For the past few nights, it has been 8 to 9 pm MST, much earlier, thanx to all the storms. These images were made over a pond just outside my back door - I live close to downtown - and ambient light illuminated the rocky shoreline. My neighbour Carole joined me in the shoot. The display lasted about one hour -- it may return at its usual time later tonite. It was relaxing warm evening - about +4 Celsius, no bugs. Canon 5D MkIV, Sigma 14 mm, ISO 2500, 4 sec at f 2.2
