I got the notification of the big flare at AR3842 as I was setting up my equipment. I didn't catch it at its peak as I started capturing images for an animation at 12:47 UTC when it was already back down to an M5.02 level. This is the first shot captured at 12:47 UTC, 25 minutes after the peak.
