Details:
The comet rose over the distant mountains into fire smoke that just doesn't seem to want to completely go away. The nucleus is brilliant and, on the original images, the tail measures 8 to 10 degrees long. That's the best I can do from my backyard location. Saving dark sky locations for when the comet is in the evening sky. Quickly post-processed for now, until I can give them more time. Sony A7 MkIII, 85mm F1.8 lens, various ISOs and exposures.
