Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) on the morning of 2024 September 30 was magnitude G=3.2 as calculated from 12x3 second images in an aperture diameter of 5', a little fainter than yesterday when it was magnitude G=3.0. The comets tail is now showing a dark lane in the middle of the tail close to the coma.
