Details:
On September 29 I was able to take a first image of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS from 52°N near Braunschweig, Germany. The photo (cropped) is a stack of 12 exposures of 1 s each at ISO 800 taken at 6:16 MESZ with a Canon EOS 6D and Tokina AT-X SD 300 mm F2.8 lens on a tracked mount. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the comet on the live view screen or in the 20x90 binoculars and I thought it was still lost in the haze or bright twilight (solar depression 9 degrees).
