Details:
On September 27th, the day of the perihelion of the Tsuchinshan Atlas comet, I photographed it a few minutes after it rose on the horizon! It was a long search in the photos taken taking Regulus as a reference before it disappeared in the light of dawn and considering the marine platform on the horizon. The search in the celestial map made me find the star Lambda Hydra of 3.6 mag while the comet was 3.1. All other stars in the area are of lower magnitude and not visible. The distance between Lambda and comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas is correct compared to the celestial map. The comet in the two photos was at 06.03 and 06.06 (04.03-0406UT) above the horizon between 1 and 2 degrees. In the second photo the comet and Lambda are visible. Unfortunately the faint tail was not noticeable. A satisfaction for me. CanonR7 70mm lens 1600iso and Ioptron SkyGuider Pro.
