Details:
I was surprised how much the ring plane has closed since I last observed Saturn one year ago. Only 2 1/4 degrees from being edge-on, I look forward to Earth's ring passing in 2025! Saturn never has profound atmospheric details, but I thought that the cloud colors appeared especially subdued more than normal.
