Details:
With the apparent separation between our sister world and the Sun increasing every day, Venus is now easily visible low in the Western sky shortly after sunset. For less atmospheric effects I grabbed these images while our Sun was still high above the horizon. I was surprised that Venus was so easy to view through a finderscope while still relatively close to the Sun. The gibbous phase is quite evident.
