Details:
I have imaged the Saturn occultation from Rome Italy. This image is before of the ingress. The time of the shot is: 2024 August 21, 05:29 UT. I used a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm , a HQY 5 III S C, color camera. Processing: - PIPP (debayer) - Autostakkert III, Iris and Adobe Photoshop. The image is the composition given the notable difference in brightness between planet and moon of a correctly exposed image of the planet and one of the lunar limb. The resulting image is metrically correct for the position. A montage is underway of the various phases of the occultation which should be concluded this evening.
