Details:
Around 4am on the 5th Aug 2024 I awoke and on checking a website found the Aurora figures were very high. I made a quick dash to Oreti Beach in Southland where I started taking photos from 4:30am through to nearly 7am. A few of these images contained a distinct orange colour, as can be seen in this image on the right-hand side.
