Details:
One of the most distinctive features of Asperitas clouds is their resemblance to a stormy sea. The chaotic waves are reminiscent of the surface of a rough sea viewed from below, transforming the sky into an ocean of clouds. With crests and valleys that move and change shape, variably illuminated depending on the angle of the sun, these turbulent and rippled waves stretch across the sky, imparting a sense of dynamic and powerful motion akin to that of a rough sea. The Asperitas, with their chaotic waves and visually turbulent structure, evoke Van Gogh's intense and dynamic brushstrokes. The resemblance between Asperitas clouds and the famous paintings of Van Gogh, particularly in how they depict turbulent and swirling skies, might suggest that the painter could have observed similar formations during his lifetime. The pictures with the hay bales are from May 1st. The remaining pictures are from August 18th. CAMERA: Nikon D7100; 50mm and 150mm; f/14; 1/640 ISO 100
