Details:
Made trip to Door County, WI to enjoy Perseids Meteor Showers in the Dark Skies this area offers. We were kind of scratching our head as we thought the sky was getting brighter even though the sun had set couple hours earlier. We directed our IPhone 15 Pro cameras to the brightness and were completely surprised that we were witnessing the Northern Lights. Their intensity lasted about 20-30 minutes as we enjoyed the show looking out over Rowley’s Bay and Lake Michigan. We returned to our campsite a short distance away around 1 AM with me retiring and my wife staying up another hour or so, capturing the Auroras dancing overhead. Memorable night!
