Details:
A Perseid meteor seen near the radiant on Monday 2024 August 12 at approx 01h25 UT. The exposure lasted from 01h23m49s to 01h25m49s. The average radiant position at this time was near the centre of the 2 degree square image. The typical spread of meteor directions is the width of the image or more so it is not surprising that the short meteor trail does not point directly at the centre of the view. The bright background has been subtraced in the B/W image. N is up. Pentax K1-II on TeleVue 102 at f=695mm with LPF, ISO 12800, 120s.
