Details:
I got up 130 AM to check out side the cottage as I was aware of the solar activity. I noticed wisps of Aurora in the sky over the cottage so walked around my rural neighborhood. I am very familiar with the Aurora since I see them a lot here at my summertime residence over the last 15 years. But tonight was slightly different. It was very light out side despite being officially “ night”. It seemed like twilight. I was out a few nights ago and the night was very dark. I feel the Aurora lightened up the night. This time the Aurora was directly overhead. It usually manifests itself nicely to the NW over Lake Winnipeg but tonight it did not just directly above. These are those observations.
