Details:
I imaged from my Manorville NY backyard, a Rare Perseid Meteor Shower, and the Northern Lights. You can see a Perseids Meteor over the Seven Sisters in the Northern Lights on 08-12-24 at 2:28 am EST. You can also see the mid-right side of a partial meteor in this image and a satellite lower right over the tree line.
My setup was a Canon EOS 5D MarkIII with ISO 3200 at f/2.8 exposure time was 15 sec. I used a 16-35mm Canon lens set at 35mm. All on an unguided tripod. I wanted to see if I could image a Perseids Meteor but the Northern Lights made it a experience.
I got LUCKY.
