The best of this morning's auroral display (12 August 2024) photographed from the south of England, UK (Latitude: 51.42 N).
The photos have had their image level enhanced to increase contrast and the brightness to make the aurora clearer in the pictures. In reality this was mainly a photographic event from my light polluted town location - with only a vague hint of red faintly visible to eye at the peak. The photos were taken at 0048 and 0050 BST (UT+1).
