Details:
After waiting all afternoon for the 2nd CME to arrive and then to have it arrive and the the Bz go North was disappointing, but low and behold the Bz dropped later in the evening and I was out the door. I caught an amazingly colourful display of Aurora pillars that were ruddy red to the eye but gorgeous red in the camera!
