Details:
I started out late I had been on a danger tree falling day and was dead tired from all of the climbing. I got home had supper and then checked the solar wind Holy smokes the Bz had been South for over 2 hours. I packed the gear and was out the door. My first stop was Jumping Pound Pond for the first substorm, and wow did it ever deliver the perfect storm right as it got dark and while the skies were somewhat clear. After the substorm subsided I head North to clear skies I knew I had some time before the next substorm hit I ventured as far as Carstairs, and witnessed a 70-80 degrees above the horizon aurora band, then some pillars and when the Sun was coming up a corona, wow what a way to end the night!!!
