Details:
Through the wildfire smoke from a multitude of wildfires burning in BC and Alberta I managed to capture a SAID Arc aka STEVE and the Picket Fence Aurora. I was out near Langdon Alberta on a reservoir called Dalmead Lake, I had spied an old dead tree that I wanted to use as a foreground a few years back an tonight was the night. The 3rd and 4th CME's had arrived earlier in the day and was hoping to catch the tail end of the storm, and I got lucky an impressive substorm hit just as it got dark and things got exciting, as the aurora came out in full glory!
