Details:
The sky was quite misty for most of the night. There were two periods where the aurora was detected by camera showing faintly through the mist. Processing managed to see through the mist, revealing a faint aurora for two periods 22.30-22-40 UTC and 00.10- - 0040 UTC. These occurrences correlate with the KP5 levels shown on the NOAA data record. This proves clearly that a KP5 event is visible to the camera here in Harleston in Eastern England. The images above show the worked versions (poor images) with the original misty sky image and and extract from the NOAA data.
