Photographic auroras over Western Colorado at 38.87 deg N.
I was photographing the sky and noticed some pink aurora in the exposures shortly after midnight. There was some green airglow showing up as well. This was when the kP index was around 5. The aurora glow faded before moonrise at around 1:30 am.
